Abstract

Curriculum changes are expected to be a decision to improve education in Indonesia, not just a
ministerial program. The Merdeka Curriculum is expected to be able to improve the quality of education by
producing students who have instilled the values of the Pancasila student profile so that they can compete locally and globally. This study analyzes how the Merdeka Curriculum has implications for economics lessons, using the method used in literature studies. The results of this study are that economics lessons at the high school level are phases E and F. The flexibility of economics educators in learning can occur from how educators understand learning outcomes, but this understanding is expected to be able to increase from the applicable standards. Economics is a subject that is in great demand by students so that schools need to prepare skilled teacher human resources in mastering the material and class management in order to produce graduates of courses that are in accordance with learning outcomes and have characters in accordance with the Pancasila student profile
