Abstract

This research aims to review in depth about sharia cards both in terms offiqh  rules and practices. This research uses descriptive analysis methodology combined with literature research strategy. Based onthe research results, it isstatedthat the birth of sharia  cards or known as sharia credit cards is a reaction to the utilization of information
and  technological advances by banks. As an Islamic- flagged product, sharia cards must  comply with fiqh regulations in practice. The use ofsharia cardsis basically allowed but there are stillsome conditions that causeit to become haram, in this case it can arise due  to operational errors of an institution that violates sharia principles that
have been regulated in Islamic law
