Factors Related to The Occurrences Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) In The Working Area of Puskesmas Pancoran Mas Depok City

Abstract
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. DHF cases at the Pancoran Mas Health Center from 2017 to 2019 were the highest cases in all health centers in the city of Depok. In 2017 there were 64 cases, then in 2018 it increased to 72 cases and in 2019 there were 145 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of DHF in the work area of the Pancoran Mas Health Center in 2021. The type of research used was quantitative research using a Case Control design. The population in this study were patients with DHF from January to June 2021 at the Pancoran Mas Public Health Center (Case) and people who did not suffer from DHF who lived around the case group (Control). The sampling method used in this study was total sampling for the case group (51 cases) and purposive sampling for the control group (102 participants). The data used in this study were primary data using questionnaires and secondary data using medical records. The analysis carried out is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with chi square test. The results of the univariate analysis showed that most of the respondents had good knowledge (63.4%), had the habit of hanging clothes (71.9%), did not drain the water reservoir (TPA) (67.3%), and did not use mosquito repellent (79.1%). There is a significant relationship between the variables Knowledge (Pvalue=0.000, OR=3.662), Habits of Hanging Clothes (Pvalue=0.042, OR=2.333), Draining Water Reservoir (TPA) (Pvalue=0.038, OR=2.251) and Use of Anti-Mosquito Drugs (Pvalue=0.049, OR=2.566) with the incidence of DHF.
